LO #45: {5.1.2009} Mateen 2 months old

So Elated!!!

Today, I had received a phone call that really made my day. I will not tell what was it just yet because I do not want to make a big deal about it before I get the confirmation. Only few people knew about. I also hope, they, too, would receive the same phone call just I did. So watch this space for the verdict =)

Today...

I had just got back from breakfast with HL and KH at an Indian restaurant somewhere in Batu Satu. I found myself another good place for 'dosai masala'. *slurp* Note to self: must bring DH over this weekend.

Anyways, it was good to hangout with the girls despite it was a quick one. Must do it again real soon but this time a bit longer. Note to the girls: next time we go try the one at Tanah Jambu. The 'dosai' over there is good too.

Finally, I got to hand over these simple altered notebooks which I had made sometime ago. Hope you girls love it.

Like mother like daughter...

This is for Emma's reading when she starts at Stella's Nusery School in January next year. Of course, I would not be showing it to her anytime soon, else, it will not be in mint condition on her first day of school =) I hope Emma will share my passion for reading...


I have finally bought the last installment for the Harry Potter series. I better read it first before the movie is out =)

Distressing Kit: I finally have it!!!

Lucky for me, I got the last box. Phew! However, this is the newer version. It does not have a bone folder, a stipple brush, sandpapers, steel wool pads, chalks, pounce wheel and a paint comb. Instead, they replaced it with eye make-up brushes, sanding files, paints, stain daubers, a dozen foam brushes and dauber handlers. I really cannot wait to get my hands messier than ever.

My fav scrap mag is back!

I'm thrilled that my fav local bookstore carries Australian Scrapbook Creations! Naturally, this will be added to my monthly booking list. So, I don't have to worry missing out an issue :)

September Babies!

Maya had delivered her firstborn baby girl (Nur Amal Maisarah) on 1st September.
Ida, too, had delivered a baby girl (Za`ira Geneva Meraj Rauch) on 2nd September.

LO #44: Mateen & Nini Babah

It has been awhile since I last created an LO. So, I managed to create this much earlier in the evening before heading to Kota Batu. I have been meaning to scrap this photo of Mateen (2 months ++) and my FIL. This photo was taken by Rano himself during at Wawa's bersanding last February. I computerised most of my journalling using Ali E's font (one of my fav fonts ever) which is partially hidden beneath the white ruffles.

Mini Square Album

Last night, SK had another tutorial which was conducted by Issa on behalf of Cookie. Instead of using 8 x 8 cardstocks, I just used uncut 12 x 12. So making the album, 6 x6 (the original tutorial is for the 4 x 4 mini album). There's more room for embellishment and pictures bigger than 2R.

So LOVING it!!!
